Community Drop-In Event – Tuesday 3rd March

Local residents are invited to a drop-in information event on Tuesday 3 March (5pm – 7pm) to find out more about ResilienTogether’s slow the flow flood risk management works planned across the Pix Brook catchment.

The event will outline a range of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and natural flood management (NFM) measures being progressed in Letchworth Garden City, including the bioswales at Woolston Avenue and leaky barrier installations at Norton Common and Pix Meadow, where works are scheduled to begin in February.

Members of the project team will be available to explain how the measures work, why locations have been selected, what to expect during construction, and to answer questions.
