Community Drop-In Event – Tuesday 3rd February

Local residents are invited to a drop-in information event on Tuesday 3 February (10am–12:30pm) to find out more about ResilienTogether’s slow the flow flood risk management works planned across the Pix Brook catchment.

The event will cover the range of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and natural flood management (NFM) measures being taken forward, including leaky barrier installations at Norton Common and Pix Meadow, where works are due to begin in mid-February.

Members of the project team will be available to explain how the measures work, why locations have been selected, what to expect during construction, and to answer questions.
