Our Education Hub is based at Standalone Farm , a small working farm set in 125 acres of farmland on the outskirts of Letchworth.

You can expect to see our educational models, innovative water play area and follow Oscar the Otter’s Riverside Ramble.

Educational Models

Bring your creations to life with the Augmented Reality Sandbox and learn about flood risk and how homes can be protected using our Projection Augmented Relief Model (PARM)

Join Oscar the Otter and his wildlife pals on an expedition through the Pix Brook at Standalone Farm. You can learn about the nature of flooding, climate change, river health and biodiversity and interact with the environment by completing Oscar’s wildlife activities and questions.
